About Rae

Rae, a native of New Orleans, embodies resilience, faith, and the transformative power of God. Once a teen mother and now the proud mother of two amazing sons, Rae has triumphed over challenges, including navigating life after a deeply unhealthy marriage. With over 20 years of service as a Registered Nurse, an MBA, and a forthcoming PhD in Nursing Education, Rae is a testament to the power of perseverance and purpose.  

As a published author, Rae shares her insights and experiences to inspire others, while her previous roles as the director of dance ministries in churches and the community reveal her passion for creative worship and leadership. After living in Los Angeles for eight years, Rae settled in the Houston area, where she continues to walk boldly in her calling.  

Now, as a minister in training at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church under the leadership of the esteemed Dr. Marcus D. Cosby, Rae is dedicated to preaching the uncompromising gospel of Jesus Christ. Her journey is a living testimony to God’s grace and a beacon of hope for those seeking transformation, faith, and purpose.
